Hi, I’m Emilie Sheehan!
As a millennial woman who’s shiny new in her forty’s, I have a pretty typical life – I’m married, I have 4 kids, I drive a mini van, compulsively front tuck, and you will have to pry my high rise pants from my rigid, cold, dead hands. You could assume I stay home with my kids, because I do. Keeping people alive has been my full time for 14 years and I look like it. What I’m trying to say is, I look like a mom. Despite looking the part of a mom, I’m also a wife to a wonderful man who is my best friend and favorite person. We’ve been married for 18 years. We were babies when we married each other at just 21 years young. We’ve grown up together and now we are growing old together. I like him more than words can say. We’ve already established that I’m a mom, but I might be the mom to the most interesting people in the world. My children are just so cool and unique in there own special way. It’s really fun living with all these personalities- by fun I mean sometimes it’s a scary funhouse full of new terrors around every corner and other times is a blast and lots of laughing! We also have 2 dogs in our family who are funny and quirky. They keep us laughing and scratching our heads.
It’s kinda hard to really know what you may want to know about me so I’ll now list some facts you may find interesting:
I love being creative (painting, coloring, home renovations, and writing)
I love thrifting
I love fashion and clothing
Creme brulee is my favorite dessert
I’m afraid the ocean and space – they are both just too vast. I don’t want to find myself stranded in something THAT vast!
I’m an autism mom
I’m a twin mom
I’m a mom to a teenager
I live in Colorado
Mentos gum is superior
I love my friends
I am a breast cancer survivor
